The Chari Sambhu temple of Bodh


The Chari Sambhu temple is located near Jagti area near Janhapang of Boudh District , This place was the state capital of Somobansi dynasty . The Chari Sambhu temple is dedicated to both Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu . This temple is older than the Konark temple and it is the temple of 8th century . This is combine religious place of Shaivaite and Vaishavaite . The Old name of the place was Jajati Nagar – which was a capital . this temple is less famous temple of Odisha .There is no contribution of government towards the Chari Sambhu temple . The Rameswar temple is dedicated to lord Shiva and it is located in Mali Sahi of Boudh NAC . The Boudhdistrict is the central district of Odisha . The RAmeswara temple is located at the centre of Boudh town . This temple is made up of red sand stone . This temple is the temple of 8th century . The Boudh  district is place amalgamation of all language and culture . The temple is a nagara style of architecture – with – kalinaga style of temple architecture . There is 3 temple in this area – three are known as Rameswara temple . One is  Bhubaneswara temple , Kapileswara temple and Wast Somonath temple . All three temples of this temple complex is dedicated to Lord Shiva . This temple was built by last ruler Narayan deo . All three temples are similar in three corner . This is not a Pachayatan style of architecture . Here Lord Buddha has been worshiped .

 

Naik Pada Cave of Boudh –

The Naik Pada cave is one of the most visited place near the Boudh town of Odisha . It is located at 9 km away from the Boudh town . This cave is located in a dense forest and the cave has a temple , which is dedicated to lord Shree Ram . This cave is located on the Boudh Phulbani road .

There is a rabbit shelter in the Naikpada cave campus and it has ben maintained by Collectorate of Boudh district . There is a huge stature of Lord Shree Hanuman – in front of the Cave . There is a prayer hall near the cave – which is free for all for prayer .

There is a concreate ladder to climb the top position of the temple area and there is a statue of Shree Ganesha near the ladder .

There is a statue of Goddess Durga on the upper area of the cave and statue of sage in the position of meditation . In the core area of the cave there are two statues are present . One is the statue of Lord Shree Krishna with Shree Radha and another is statue of Lord Shree Ram with Maa Sita . This place is also famous for Ratha Yatra of Boudh . Main the place is famous for the Bahuda Yatra .
