ABOUT OZONE HOLE
Ozone hole prevent the penetration of harmful UV radiation into the earth surface .How ever ozone hole allow passage of UV rays to earth surface where is cause harm to plants ,animals and environment directly or indirectly.The UV rays cause skin cancer in the skin of human being.
EFFECT OF OZONE HOLE ON PLANT
Ozone hole causes damage to photosynthesis and germination of seed .The leaf ,fruit ,etc .Due to UV rays the plant cell died and the growth of plant hampered .Smaller plants like phytoplankton and zooplankton die in water reservoir ,so the growth of fishes decreases due lack of food ,because they are directly or indirectly depend on these zooplankton and phytoplankton.Due to decrease in fishes population the protein rich fishes become unavailable in market and the fisherman loses their livelyhood and the economy of the country goes down in a some extent directly or indirectly.
EFFECT ON ANIMALS
UV rays are dangerous to living organism -particularly the UV-B ,which causes skin cancer and eye sight effect on human and animals .
The immunity of skin decreases due to the UV rays ,as a result the micro-organism easily attack the skin and the rate of infection increases and the UV rays affect the reproductive system of animals including the human being.
EFFECT ON ENVIRONMENT
The food chain is largely affected by UV rays ,due to which ecosystem fall in danger.acid rain is increases
